This is the second book in this series that I've read and I don't know if I would say I enjoyed it more than the first one I read, but I like the series more after reading another installment. The characters are enjoyable and likable. I find myself wishing Marla were my hairstylist, then remembering she's a fictional character. The story is a very entertaining read with a great plot line and the author's writing style sucks the reader in and carries you along for the ride. I'm just upset that more books in this series aren't available at my local libraries!

(If this review seems familiar, that's because I had a goodreads account before that I'm copying my previous reviews from. Why did I create a new account, you ask? Well, because when I logged out of that account and then logged back in, I find that that account appears not be linked to any of my known email addresses, so I'm starting over from scratch!)
