Picked this up thinking I’ll read a little before I go to bed and bam. Finished it so quick!

Enjoyable quick read with enough suspense to keep you going even when the characters lacked depth and I had zero empathy for any of them.

Half way through it got predictable for me but I think the writing warranted the page turns and I didn’t have time to guess the ending twist as such. I predicted the plot overall but the person at the ending was a good twist imo.

I liked how the book was written from both perspectives the wife and the widow. It was a good and twisty thriller! It was hard to put down.

Slow to start. Pace picked up with plenty of twists and turns. Writing lacked elegance. Clunky metaphors and dialogue. Worth sticking with for the twist and how it all comes together.

WOW! Very rarely does a book have me go from laying down relaxing, to sitting upright and surprised by the twist it takes.
I can only imagine the planning the author put in to make the story as perfectly executed as it was. I would recommend this to anyone who loves a book that keeps them guessing.

Really enjoyed this one, was also a very quick read so it was satisfying to finish it in one day. I thoroughly enjoyed the plot twist of the the time period. Although I did feel the whole time that it was too straight forward so I was just kind of waiting for the plot twist to finally happen. So even though the plot twist was very good, it wasn’t really that surprising.

This was an excellent read, except I listened on Audible, and got really confused at the end, with the timing. It honestly made little sense until really close to the end, and listening to the author’s note.
