Gosh, I haven't come across an ending that was equal parts brilliant and infuriating (and bizarre...?) in a long time. This was just plain fun -- and has me itching to pick up a math textbook!

Very entertaining and facetiously deep.

For me, it is the ultimate spoof of James Bond type films, and super villains.

Some of my favorite passages:

"Sill is interested in nothing. He wants nothing. He plans to take nothing. He wants, rather needs, me
because I know nothing."

"You know, that's all music is. Time. Time to recognize related tones, time to rest, to repeat, reminding us that all movement is mere illusion."

"Literally. Don't you just hate it when people use that word? I mean, I literally hate it. Hate it, hate, hate it. I want to kill those people. Figuratively. Who am I kidding? Literally."

Great read, and he has a bunch of other stuff published - Bonus!

This book was unlike any I've read before, plot-wise. Comedic and grim at the same time, very confusing at times, philosophical, with real world implications and valuable social commentary. Surreal, speculative, postmodern.

Lovable and fascinating Dirk Gently-esque protagonist - an 80 year old whacky professor in the body of a 36 year old whacky professor. Equally fascinating antagonist; a mix of real motive and Bond villain melodrama.
