Nothing special, you can detect the killer from the beginning, but it’s entertaining. It’s the book that I would buy at the station to pass the time on the train. I liked Lily. Loved the sapphics.

A Christmas murder mystery, complete with isolated country house, host of characters, creepy housekeeper and an unsolved mystery. And that’s before people start disappearing….
This was a fun mystery; it’s not challenging Christie as the murder mystery queen, but it was nonetheless very atmospheric. My main fault was that the end motive was a bit weak for me.
