Here we are again... I ate this book up and it was a five-star read. I honestly didn't think I would like it this much because most of the reviews I read were saying it was too similar to TLH. However, after reading TLH back in 2021 and the three novellas last month, Love on the Brain was surprisingly good. It may be that I read the first one long ago and I don't have it fresh enough to be able to say that they feel too similar. What is more, I actually enjoyed reading something similar to TLH, because I haven't been able to find a book that made me feel the same as that one. Until now. I'm not saying that I'd like for her to write the same thing over and over again. But the plot of LOTB is quite different from that of TLH.
I've read the sinopsis for Love, Theoretically and I'm scared because it sounds too Love on the Brain-ish. I don't really care if Ali Hazelwood uses the same formula of women in STEM and their romances with men in STEM or different fields but I do prefer changing tropes and topics in general. But I'll shut up because everything that she writes, I'm going to read so...

Nonetheless, I always have something to critique so here we go... BEE! DARLING! WHO THE FUCK WEARS GALAXY LEGGINGS IN 2022? I'm deceased. I had to read that shit three times because I could NOT believe my eyes. Also, WHY ARE YOU COMPARING LEVI'S (humongous lol) DICK TO RIDING HORSES AND BULLS? You lost me at zoofilia... Maybe my brain wasn't braining while reading that and my English decided to glitch so I didn't understand exactly what the line meant. But... Well... I'll leave now.

Waiting for the third one. Not patiently, but waiting.

this was such a fun, quick read! it's really easy to fall in love with the characters Hazelwood creates and to relate to them immensely. their love story is full of ups and downs, it has so much charisma and gives the reader a lot of pieces to hold on to.

see my review on the love hypothesis but lower rating because alis characters managed to be even more annoying. did it’s job of rotting my brain away though

i loved this! Ali Hazelwood has me in an absolute chokehold. could’ve been 5 stars but the end of that 3rd act was just slightly unrealistic and dare i say, ridiculous. entertaining though. i love romance.
