The book is good. Love the relationship and romance here. Again I appreciate showing how hard it still is to be a girl and have a career in the university and since world. I very much appreciate the way of appreciation of mental health characters go to therapy when they need to, they do not feel emberes because of that and that is such a positive thing. My only minus is this a bit cliche but still sweet and cool story is the cat saves the day. Especially when the author a couple of pages before talking about cliche moments in books and movies. But still a good book about a very amazing love story. Every girl deserves a man like Levi.

I know it’s a romance novel but Bee and Levi were perfectly matched. At times, it felt like Ali was really pushing Bee to be the Quirky Science Girl (TM), but I still deeply wanted to see her succeed. Levi gave me total Mr. Darcy vibes, as he was grumpy without being a total jerk. His inner monologue was also so stinking cute! * squealing in hopeless romantic *

The progression of the story felt really natural and there was never a bit where I felt like the action was lagging or too overwhelming. I started out wishing Bee and Levi got together sooner, but how it happened was much better. I sort of predicted the twist, but it was still widely entertaining. Because of this, I think this story would be a great book to adapt to a movie.

I wanted a cute romance novel and Love on the Brain delivered. While the characters were maybe a little more basic than I’m used to in my usual reads, the chemistry and plot were excellent! I’ll definitely be recommending this to my friends and looking forward to reading her other novels.

 4.5 stars
Don't ask me why I like this, I just really freaking loved it okay! (Judgement free zone)
This is my first book of Hazelwood's and considering the other reviews I might have felt differently had I read The Love Hypothesis first. I think I should mention that I didn't go into this expecting classic literature, or a complex read critiquing high brow topics. I went in expecting a romance with some spice, and a happy ending. And that is what I got.
Is is true that Hazelwood can't break away from a mold of every character being the same in each book she writes? Don't ask me this is my first one. I found if fluffy and sweet, and humorous.
Listen if I had one complaint from this turn off your brain and read, it would be kinda how weirdly young Bee was written. Lengths are gone to mention how tiny she is and how young she acts. I think there is a fine line between grumpy/sunshine and grumpy/omg she is a child.
I did still really like this though.
I will take no questions on why I enjoyed this.
In my secret heart of hearts I probably would rate this 5 stars but I am in no way ready to accept that.
