I'm pretty sure this was a library ebook, not a Netgalley book for me.

I am posting an honest review after reading an advance reader copy of this story.

I love this series. The entire family has been a joy to read about & I'm sorry the series, Duke Dynasty, has come to an end. Sheridan and Vanessa are a perfect example of two people who can't communicate. The social rules are strict but come on....just a little bit of straight talk. Maybe a note that says do you like me? Check yes or no. It's fun to watch as they play games with each other and try to fool their family members. They're hot for each other and the games they're playing can't stop the inevitable HEA.

Undercover Duke is the fourth book in the series by S.abrina Jeffries. I have only read the third and forth books but it didn't matter I was thoroughly invested in the story about this family. I love the title, it says it all the Duke of Armitage is trying to question Vanessas mom to find out if she had anything to do with the murders of his moms three husbands. Sabrina Jeffries weaves an intricate and comp!ex story that was not confusing in the least. I never felt lost. I was with that family the whole time. I had figured out who it was about halfway but my motive was wrong. All of the characters were amazing not just the H and the h even thorn, which reminds me the dinner party after the p!ay was a great laugh out loud scene. I loved what I read of this series it was so good thank you Sabrina Jeffries for another great read.

I like the plot and combination of romance and a mystery. The pacing of the book was a bit slow at first, but picked up later on. It was said that Sheridan was in love with Victoria all the time, but it didn't look like it. I liked Sheridan and Victoria, but thought they were thrown together too quickly. It would have been nicer if they got to know eachother some more.

This was a strong end to the series. I’ve enjoyed both Sheridan and Vanessa over the course of the series, and it was good to finally see them get together. It was also good to have the mystery finally be sewn up. This wasn’t my favorite series by Ms. Jeffries, but it was enjoyable and ended well. Thanks to the publisher for providing an eARC via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.
