If you're craving for a cheesy sweet romance read without spice, this is a perfect book to pick up. You'll get people on the brink of adulthood finding out what they think of love and themselves in it – together with someone who can make them feel seen. The repeated Valentine's days give a perfect testing ground for different outlooks on life and yourself, and even the
eventual and predictable end to the repeat
offers new insights for the main characters.

Regardless of this lighter main plot, the story also touches deeper topics of loneliness, loss, and difficult family dynamics – all without making the book feel too heavy. These topics offer a great perspective to difficulties in life: not everything is easy in life, but you'll get through the harder things and you don't have to do it alone. Even the biggest struggles can be resolved when you open up about them to someone and get the right kind of help. That is such a great message for a YA book to convey.

I had a blast with this book!
