Delightful, for the continuing relationships, and exciting, for the continuing plot. Not so much a romance, really, didn't need to be, thrilled to spend more time in this world.

This one is a little scattershot, too many storylines at once. 5 stars for the Hektor storyline, but the authors should've narrowed the scope to just that. I understand why they didn't because this is a romance series, but the sex scenes feel so shoehorned in that it still feels out of place in the series. I think it would've been fine to get a sweet book between these teenagers without all the added complexity.

”You love me. You make me happy. You keep me safe.”

This is the follow up to the story of the couple of book 1, which is, if I had to rank them, my least favourite couple in this series, so thats probably why I didn’t love this book as much. But, I must admit I did enjoy the couple much more in this book. They balanced each other out very well and they were very sweet together. The relationship building and the time they spent together was my favourite part of this book, it was just so lovely to read about.

I thought that this book was a very good follow up to the series, it did a really good job at developing the plot while always tying every book before it together. I really enjoyed the world building in this book, it was lovely to read. But I did feel like the world building took away a little from the romance, I just wanted to see the main couple of the book spend more time together on page.

Also the kink in this book, goddam did that work for me. It was so hot and absolutely delightful.

I received an ARC of this book, and this is my honest review.

I liked this one about as much as the first and third books (book two remains my favorite so far), but I particularly enjoyed the comedic scenes. I literally cannot wait for Emile's book though!
