Possibly my favourite read of 2023. The setting really comes to life and for the first time in a while I could really visualise what I was reading. The characters each have their own story and are well developed overall it felt like no character was wasted and they all served at least some purpose. The book was easy enough to follow but interesting enough to keep my attention and just seemed to be a well-balanced story with multiple points of interest. Definitely won't be everyone's cup of tea as it can be corny and somewhat predictable but overall I found it to be a very cozy enjoyable readÂ
