While this had some interesting info, it was hard for me to get through and stay with. I commend the authors ability to simplify complex things like corporations, extinction, evolution, etc and the illustrations are incredible. While it all connected in the end, there was still something that just didn’t click for me and def felt like I was dragging my feet through this.

Do you know what is the problem with Yuval Noah Harari?!
He is not able to move on from his first book, Sapiens. It succeeded, so I am going to sell it in every form possible.

Funnier and more engaging than his adult works, this book covers a good chunk of what Harari argues in Sapiens using language appropriate for older children. The illustrations complement the concepts discussed quite well, although there are some spreads that seem uninspired. The text ends in a cliff-hanger-y way, hinting at the second volume. Highly recommended for both kids and thier adults.
I received a free copy of this book from the publisher for review.

Got this book as a gift so I forced myself to start reading but it actually got interesting. I mean , I'm not a fan of this genre or history, but this one is different . Kudos to the Author for that.

Tranh giống Chuyện gia đình nhà Crooks của Disney, còn nội dung thì cũng sơ khai. Ai không có thời gian đọc sách giấy người lớn thì cuốn này cũng oke, biết được nhiều kiến thức căn bản.

Really engaging, and a quick read. My 10-year-old and I read this independently and both enjoyed it. Does a good job of placing Homo Sapiens in the context of the larger human family and explaining evolution and early human history in an accessible way while also acknowledging the unknowns.
