Amaizing writing. Perfect if you like horror and gore. I just love King's way of explaining relationships and conflicts.

Having seen both movies, I honestly wasn't sure what to expect when reading the book. I think the most interesting aspect of reading the book is its loos epistolary form, which I thought, meshed with personal interjections, made for an overall appealing story. That being said, I think King's writing dragged on at times and made it hard to get through. On top of that, the light antisemitism and racism (and his overall descriptions of women) left me feeling quite uncomfy.

Stephen really had me in the first half where I was like “wow! only one n word I think is pretty impressive for him!” Then we get to Norma’s article.

Stephen really delivered in his first ever novel.

Sissy Spacek's narration absolutely blew my mind.
