Another new author for me and I really enjoyed this book. I listen to a lot of shifter books, this was a good start to the series and like I always say, I am interested to see where this goes. So far it is a slow burn style. A cliff hanger ending so I am glad I can go straight to the next one (I dont really like cliff hangers unless I can binge listen)

Series review: I always end up thinking Tessa Hale's books are just sorta fine. Always a lot of elements that I like, but somehow the combination ends up being underwhelming. I will say, I did not care for having open door intimacy when one of the characters was still underage, enough that it drops it by half a star.
