The first half of the book had me hooked. As a first time reader of the Omegaverse, I loved reading about their relationship and the spice was great!

**Potential Spoiler Alert! Proceed with caution!**

And then the big twist happened, which was rushed, and everything just came tumbling down for me. Considering the main event that marks a huge turn for the book was rushed, it didn’t have as much of an emotional impact as it could have for me. I sympathize with depression, especially when grief is at play, but instead of showing us this difficult time, it was a lot of telling and repetition.

**Potential Spoiler Alert! Proceed with caution!**

One thing I hate in romance is miscommunication, and that was the main driver in the packs break up for the whole story. While I can understand both sides to a degree, the Charlotte become petty and unapologetic, even when one of her love interests presented very clear and reasonable counterpoints to justify his own emotions. Personally would have preferred to see Charlotte own up to her own mistakes with Mikael (and have Mikael own up to his as well), instead of the direction it went after the whole journal debacle 🙄.

My favorite book of February! I could not put this one down, and since it's a newer release, I have yet to really see that much about it. This is an omegaverse book, I've never read a book with that in it, and I didn't even know what that meant. But at the beginning of the book, there is a short explanation of what it is and how Blue uses it in her book. But I wanted to read the book because of the reverse harem element; it was so good in this one! I loved how Charlotte's story went. I also really loved the hockey element because I've never read a hockey romance before. This one deals with a lot of heavy things because Charlotte has older parents. One was gone before this book happened. The other has a lot of health issues, so she is always worried about her mom. We have the whole omega thing going on, and it was crazy and opened up a whole new world for me. Then we the alphas. I loved how different they all were. So we have one that's all happy and lovey-dovey and wants to be that way, but he wasn't raised in this life, so this is all new. It was adorable, and then we have the stubborn one who is determined to fight their feelings and stay away from her because he wants to focus on his dream of playing professionally, which is all three of their goals is to play professionally. It got super intense, and I could not put the book down. Plus, Charlotte has a Newfie! A book can never go wrong with a Newfoundland in it! I have two, and I love them so much; they are just the best! I need the next book ASAP! The next book is going to be focused on Charlotte's best friend, who is an alpha herself, so it's going to be interesting to see her story play out. I hope we get to see Charlotte and the boys some. This book set up her story some, and it sounds like it will be so much fun!
