Kiss the Enemy ( Slye Temp #4) by Dianna Love is a 2013 Silver Hawk Press publication. I was provided a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
The Banker was responsible for the death of someone Margaux loved and now she is literally obsessed with finding him and exacting revenge. Working with the Slye Temp group, Margaux is really pushing her luck by not playing by the rules. When it becomes apparent she needs to lay low for her own safety and the reputation of the team, Sabrina sees to it Margaux is well hidden. But, she should have known Marguax couldn't just sit still. Going solo, Margaux finds herself face to face with a man she had fallen in love during a failed mission in Paris. The man now calls himself" Logan" and he doesn't know which side Margaux is on and she doesn't know which side he is on, but they know they still feel something for each other despite the fact one could be their mortal enemy.
With no other choice but to join forces, Margaux and Logan set out to prevent a major catastrophe and save many lives. The mission is a dangerous one and the simmering fire burning between them complicates things. It is really hard to work that closely with someone under such a stressful situation and not know for sure if you can trust them, even if you wanted to.
This book is a very action packed romantic suspense novel that will have you holding on with both hands. Margaux is a kick butt "ghost" that tries to keep her sentimentality hidden, never allowing anyone to see the person underneath all that training. Logan is a person that has made incredible sacrifices to save his family. He hurt Margaux badly six years ago , but that was never his intention. Both characters hold on to secrets and keep their personal thoughts and feelings close to the vest. I liked both of them and could just tell they were perfect for each other. However, The Banker has other ideas....
I recommend this one to all romantic suspense fans, but those who read thrillers might like this one too. This one gets 4 stars.
