- this deserves some TWs. There is SA implied as something Leah was made to go through in the past. as well as an on screen ass smack by her father who criticizes her for getting "flabby" from sitting in a hospital bed during her suicide. The fact that Leah was forced to have breast augmentation and botox as a minor and that there's a bunch of creeps in her life is a thing to be aware of.
- this obviously deals w suicide and there's some graphic descriptions of Amber brainstorming ways to do it in order to get back to her body

- I find Amber's self help book thing super cringe. Tbh I find most self help book fanatics this way because they think you can willpower your way out of oppression and depression. Amber is no exception.
- this would have made sense to be published at least 10 years earlier than it was, if not more. The tech and the issues described are a little more something that would have applied in 2010 when I was in high school, rather than now that people use smartphones, especially for directions places.

- feels weird that Amber still feels warmly about her parents despite them stealing her college fund for fertility treatments.

- Cliffhanger ending and the second book isn't on Scribd.

Amber a non popular girl ends up having an out of body experience but when she returns to her body she ends up making a wrong turn into Leah's body the most popular girl in school that has just committed suicide.
I didn't think I would be interested in this type of book it seemed to goth for me, but the plot was really interesting. I will be reading the rest of the series.

Okay, this book would've gotten a 4/5 had the ending not been terribly abrupt and unsatisfying. The story was pretty unique compared to what I've been reading lately and I was a bit worried based on the cover that it was a bit too young for me; the story ended up pretty good.

I was literally going, one more page, just a little longer, I know I have to go to bed and I'm not even overly comfortable but I GOTTA READ!
It was fabulous, from slightly after beginning to end. The people were great, the story riveting, great book. Time for [b:Dead Girl Dancing|261122|The Dead Girls' Dance (The Morganville Vampires, #2)|Rachel Caine|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1173225675s/261122.jpg|253091]!

I chose this novel on a whim, I'd never heard of it before but found it when looking at the Sookie Stackhouse novels in my library's online catalogue. I quickly looked it up on here and decided it was the type of book that interested me.

Dead Girl Walking is about Amber Borden, a seventeen year old girl who happens to have a terrible sense of direction, which gets her into quite the predicament. By no means is this girl popular, but she winds up in the body of the most popular girl in school, Leah Montgomery. Amber has to act as Leah would in order to keep Leah's friends and family from guessing the truth until she can find a way back into her own body.

This was quite the interesting novel, I really enjoyed the characters and watching Amber figure out how to become more like Leah so no one would be able to tell the difference. It was obvious Amber had trouble at times because you could see her personality slipping through the facade she'd put in place.
All in all a good read.. I'm looking forward to reading the next novel in the series, [b:Dead Girl Dancing|5455873|Dead Girl Dancing (Dead Girl, #2)|Linda Joy Singleton|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1267443030s/5455873.jpg|5523459].

Teenager with bad sense of direction has an out of body experience after being hit by a mail truck but ends up in the wrong body by taking a wrong turn. This was a fun book to read because she was in the body of a popular girl she knew from school.
