An addictive, but impossible romance that had me eager to keep reading. Great romantasy book with complicated, fallible characters doing everything they can to find their happy ending.

I feel conflicted about this book. There were a lot of elements that I loved, but the book just kept going in circles the whole time.

Evangeline being very naief the whole story long and the Eva - Jack thing also couldn't been squished out any more. The "he is a doomed jerk but maybe...", became a little bit boring at a certain point.

The ending was very suprising. Didn't see it coming and I am very curious now about book 3.
