Creativity imagined and beautifully executed history book which is essential reading for everyone. I wonder how a book like this could have inspired me to achieve if I’d read it as a little girl. I’m pleased that I’d heard of all of these women apart from one. I definitely want to do some further reading about all of these amazing women. What an inspirational book!

Such a wonderful and accessible way for young girls to learn that they can do and be anything they want and that their gender shouldn't stop them! Can't wait to give this to my little cousin for her birthday! To teach her that she is and will always be brilliant.

This book does what it says in the title. Each double page spread tells us about one fantastically great woman. The information and layout is particular to each woman and invites the reader in. The text is in small chunks and provides us with key events and dates with what makes them so special.
This book could be used by KS2 children and would provide a model for writing about any group the class were interested in.

Basically the same review as the other book- An amazing informative little gem which informed me about various women, several unknown to me prior or mentioned simply in passing. Be warned though, this is not a traditional, simple read the words book, it is one you explore and journey through, with each read there will be some clever little gem which was previously overlooked. I will be buying numerous copies to give as gifts.
