A lot of complicated feelings from this one! I feel uncomfortable with the thought of sacred places being destroyed, especially since I feel like something very bad is about to happen because of it.

I really enjoyed this one. I didn't really love the last two trilogies that were written. I don't really have a lot to say other than that the couple who keeps saying "sweetie" is so awkward to me.

It's funny to see such modern industry within the world of Avatar, at least with Aang. After a century in the ice, he came out fascinated by even tiny bouts of modernism and this round is straight up industrial. It's not even abstract contemporary society like Korra's era. It almost feels like a Captain Planet episode. But it works so well because Aang's reaction is as if it were any other obstacle of the world. This is simply another blight of humankind's most devious hunger upon nature and spirit. Get 'em, Aang!
