Most importantly, a solid and creative ending to an epic space adventure.

While more characters are introduced and some part ways, the story remains focused on the core group as in the previous novels. I appreciate that the characters' choices/actions are shown to have consequences, and that they're still given agency to make those choices even as things become more intense and larger in scope. Nice wrap up to the series, tying off loose threads without becoming cheesy.

Agh omg I loved this trilogy. The world was very similar to ours with some *minor* changes.. you know the typical strange planet that looks like a wasteland. The people they met were.. I don’t even want to go into them because I know for a fact I won’t be able to dance around the huge spoiler around them. I loved the group, as always. (Mia and Rune will forever be my comfort characters from this series) I loved how characters struggled with mental health and with that the group got trama for them to bond over. It really made the book more emotional. The missed up reason behind the whole plot was insane. I enjoyed how even in a small amount of time and stress Kenzie was still herself and there were callbacks to small things from the other two books. Kenzie and Cages relationship was so good. I loved how some of the chapters just had a calmness.. just because it is a thriller doesn’t mean every second of the story has to have a tense feel! I wish there was a little more backstory from the Legions. (I believe that is what they are called?) The only thing I have with the series is that I felt like there was one too many characters, when I was looking back on the three books I lost count of how many people have died.

Overall, the whole series gets a 4.7/5 stars and is definitely a comfort series, even though it deals with aliens and death.

This is the conclusion to the trilogy and it does a good job of wrapping up all the plot points and bringing about a happy-for-now ending. It was fun to go on one last adventure with this gang of misfits. The characters are great and the world building was intriguing. The plot was alright; a little predictable, but still provided action and moved the story a long. A good to conclusion to a good series.

Quick read but lots of action. I'm not a fan of first-person but it works ok here. Pulled on my heartstrings something fierce too.

This is my review on the series as a whole.

Sci fi isn't my usual go to, I much prefer fantasy, but these kids had powers and the covers were awesome so I went for it. I am so glad I did.

The characters and settings were so vibrant it was easy to get lost. I couldn't picture the aliens well but I imagined spiders and it gave me the terror I needed to relate.

I'm disappointed with the ending simply because it ended and I would happily just keep reading.

A strong female lead with just enough independance and damselling for my liking. No poorly written characters for the sake of a death either. You're going to cry because you're going to care.

I read these on kindle but they will certainly be bought in paperback to sit on my bookshelves. I will also be recommending them.

They really do you dirty in this book and I won’t say more. Again the relationship growth is great but the ending was so open ended imo like are they going to do more books or are we supposed to assume the character actually make a difference idk. Either way I enjoyed the book no matter how sad it made me.
