Wow. Incredible. AMAZING. I thank the heaves and the earth for my short term memory cause I WILL reread the hell out of it and fall in love again. Now I remember why I liked reading.Ā

But first, where can I find an Aunt like Clemetineā€™s? We all know from the synopsis that she died, but your heart will break into pieces throughout this book. You will want to take Clementine out of this book and hug her until you canā€™t.

Whatā€™s simply not to love about the characters? The LGBTQ+ šŸ³ļøā€šŸŒˆ representation through the side characters, the intimate connections, the way the aunt made me want to fall in love with life šŸ„¹?Ā

I truly felt inspired to run outside in the rain and say ā€œf*ck it, I want to go on vacationā€ after reading this book. It made me want to buy a passport and travel to another country. Letā€™s go to Iceland šŸ‡®šŸ‡ø!Ā

I want Iwan. I wannnnnnnnt iwan. Iā€™m not usually a sucker for strangers to lovers or friends to lovers, but this was done so well and it was like crack in a book. I almost immediately understood all the connections at like page 30.Ā

This is a HEA, deals with a BOATLOAD of grief, and will make you fall in love. Please pick this up. Itā€™s slow at first but I promise it picks up.

Ashley Polston did it again. Such a beautiful story of grief and missing your loved ones. Even the ones still with us. The authors note makes it even more precious. I love love love this book! ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø

Another favourite by Ashley Poston. I loved Dead Romantics last year and this didnā€™t disappoint at all. Perfect mix of a book and a beautiful voice in her writing. Iā€™ll definitely be reading againĀ

I really enjoyed this book. I thought the relationship between the two main characters was really sweet (this is the first time in my life I think I've thought a guy with a southern accent was cute). I really liked a lot of the things this explored - around like death of a loved one, changing as you age (and more importantly how others around you change as well), and also like do you actually enjoy your job etc. I thought the relationship was very charming and I enjoyed the conflicts in it. I liked the set up (of the seven year time difference), and also like the ways in which Poston explored this set up I thought it was great. My issues with it... Ok so for one I didn't love that the aunt was gay and like she had a tragic love story and also died? I feel like tragic endings for gay characters and not straight ones is like pretty common and not great... I don't like think it was intentional or anything but I clocked it and it rubbed me the wrong way. I also think some stuff with the time travel was a bit confusing (honestly all time travel stuff ends up confusing me tho) like what if Clementine like made different decisions in her present his past I don't get it idk. but yeah overall i really enjoyed this I had a great time
