Penny and Tate were fantastically strong characters! This book was much heavier than I thought it was going to be, and thoroughly appreciated how deep it went into Penny, Tate, and their families’ complex trauma. It was never easy and was always written with care. Their story was one that was always difficult, one they were always running from, and they ended up together anyway. Loved <3
