It was nice, but I think I like the other anthology better - [b:A Timeless Romance Anthology: Happily Ever After Collection|36156795|A Timeless Romance Anthology Happily Ever After Collection|Jessica Day George|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1504182512l/36156795._SY75_.jpg|57764807].

All Hallows Eve is an "Timeless Romance" anthology featuring six clean romance novellas, all of which have a supernatural element. Three of them are historical fiction and three of them are contemporary. All six stories were charming and entertaining, but my absolute favorite was the first story in the book, Of Ghosts and Gardens. Set in 19th century Wales, it centers around an unexpected friendship between an unconventional Welsh girl and an English aristocratic scholar researching Welsh battle lore. The stories are fast paced, engaging, and will tug at your heart strings. This is a great collection from cover to cover.

I really liked half of them and didn't like the other half.

Enjoyed this compilation of various authors. Each story was unique and ranged from historical ghost stories to a modern detective with paranormal abilities. I was introduced to one or two new authors that I hadn't read before and am looking forward to reading more by these authors!

It’s always hard to rate these anthologies as some of the stories are great and some are just ok. This had some good ones for Halloween time and was a fun October read so overall I’m going with 4 stars even though there was one story I didn’t like at all.

Only read the first two stories. Too sweet and fluffy.

I have read - and loved! - every single one of the Timeless Romance anthologies so far. I'll admit I was a little bit hesitant about this one at first because "ghost" stories (or anything creepy, scary, etc.) are really not my favorite thing. But I needn't have worried! This collection of six short stories was just as fabulous as the others have been - ghosts included!
This collection features 3 historical stories and 3 contemporary stories having to do with All Hallow's Eve (Halloween) or just ghosts or paranormal things in general. Some stories were definitely more tied to the specific date of All Hallow's Eve and some just featured a ghost or paranormal element.
I did not find the stories to be "creepy" or "scary" (thankfully!) - my biggest complaint as usual is that I want most of them to be longer and tell us more of the characters and their stories! These are some of my favorite authors and I thoroughly enjoy their short stories.
I received a free e-book copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Of Ghosts and Gardens by Sarah M. Eden: I thoroughly enjoyed this one. The characters are clever and fun and I enjoyed their humor. I really wanted a longer story with these two, plus the extended cast of characters in the story. Now, I think I must go to Wales!!! The ghost aspect with his saying and finding out who he is was interesting too!!

It's You by Annette Lyon: This short seemed to go much faster than the first one and I would have loved to have more development of the story and the characters, but I still enjoyed this cute historical ghost story bringing the boy and girl together with their past connection.

Sophia's Curse by Heather B. Moore: Loved the characters and the setting and how they meet in this one!! The mystery of the curse was a great touch how that developed too. Again, I wish this one was longer so I could have had more time with the characters and the writing!

The Sirens' Song by Lisa Mangum: I was totally unprepared for this one. Very interesting way to look at a short story romance. Loved the glimpses back over their relationship and how it left the door open for possibilities. The siren aspect was interesting as well, what made them thrive and how they interacted with each other and Oliver. I really enjoyed this short and its unique approach.

The Man of Her Dreams by Jordan McCollum: This was another one with a unique approach -- solving murders through dreams; and then it all changes and reunites Alex with her old flame from college as they race against Alex's dreams and time to prevent a murder. This was another one I would have loved to have been longer, to develop more of the story and the relationship between the characters. Very intriguing.

The Ghost of Millhouse Mansion by Elana Johnson: This story started out cute and just okay for me, but then it got really interesting and then there was a twist and it got even more interesting!! I thoroughly enjoyed this one. There were a few loose ends I would have loved spelled out for me, so this is another one that could have been longer. A new author for me and I really enjoyed her work and look forward to reading more by her!

Overall review: This has been by far my favorite anthology in this series and I have liked all of them. I loved the approach of ghost stories and how well the authors adapted that theme into their stories, each in a unique way.

I LOVED Sophia's Curse. It was so good. Definitely my favorite.
The Siren's Song made me cry. It was a sweet story, and definitely different than the others.
Of Ghost's and Gardens, It's You, and The Man of her Dreams were all pretty good, but not spectacular.
And The Ghost of Millhouse Mansion was pretty awful. I didn't really like it at all. It kind of ruins the anthology.
Anyway - leaving out The Ghost of Millhouse Mansion - this was a really cute Halloween read! Not super scary, but definitely fun!

I enjoyed this collection. I don't always love books with paranormal themes, but these all had just the right amount of "ghostliness" for me.
