If you like diversity in literature, look no further. This series is filled with it. Plus sized, races, religions, lgbt. And they are less than 200 pages each!! I just love them so much. They are so unique and magical

This was a little more convoluted than the last, I like it when one novella focuses on one place most of the time, but the concept was still fun.

I never LOVED Sumi and I really don’t like Rini. The first half of this books was really difficult for me to get through, but I’ll admit it got a lot better towards the end.
My favorite so far, is Down Among the Sticks and Bones.

This series just continues to make me happy. This one continues to build on the others in subtle ways that would still make it very enjoyable if you haven't read the first two.

Beneath the Sugar Sky continues adding and building on a diverse group of children that have stumbled though magical doors and then been returned home changed. It stay with themes of body positivity and self acceptance.

I love this series, I love what Seanan is able to do with short-form books, and I loved Rini and Sumi's journey throughout this installment, I thought it was really beautiful!

Unfortunately, this particular one was kind of hard for me to read, for various reasons - but the phenomenal writing and (most of) the characters - especially Kade and Christopher?? Who I will protect with my life???? - definitely made up for that!
