The beginning was slow and a bit messy, but ultimately this book was delightful

This was a lovely little story, it was suggested to me as a book for someone who likes Ghibli films, and it definitely hit the spot. An enchanting little book about a boy who sees a ghost sneaking out of his house one night, and their adventure to solve the mystery of her origin and her future.  There's a second story interspersed in the second half of the book which was a little jarring at first, but it was able to hook me as much as the actual story in the book. A lighthearted look at ghosts.
