It is no secret that Kristen Proby is one of my favorite authors. It is stories like "The Secret" that have me devouring her stories and counting down the next release. I know that when I open a book that I am going to love the characters and when I close it my heart will be full. With the start of the "With Me in Seattle" next generation my heart is overflowing.

The original series began with Luke Williams dealing with his struggles with being a celebrity. His daughter, Olivia is now grown and working for her dad in costume design. She stays under the radar by using her mother's maiden name. Will that be enough to protect her?

Her life changes after meeting with Vaughn Barrymore. First impressions aren't the greatest. But who can argue with fate? Staying under the radar, keeping secrets from family, can't be easy when you fall for a star.

The Secret is more than just a simple love story. The Secret illustrates the importance of a supportive family. The Secret shows us that if you want something bad enough that sacrifices must be made. The Secret is a touching, beautiful romance that I can live vicariously through when I want to know what love can be.

How perfect is it that Olivia Williams (daughter of Luke and Natalie Williams) is the first story in the new series, Single in Seattle, by Kristen Proby since the first book in the WMIS series stars Luke and Nat? It was so fun to see Olivia all grown up and how protective Luke is of his daughter. His protectiveness even though Olivia is 25 does not surprise me at all!! Olivia is in charge of the costume design department at Luke’s film production studio. Her newest project is Vaughn Barrymore. To Olivia he is the hottest actor and biggest pain in her side on the planet! The chemistry between Olivia and Vaughn is OFF THE CHARTS!! I am completely in love with Kristen’s writing. My favorite is that typically one of the two main characters, if not both, is completely over the top and knows exactly who and what they want. One of my most favorite reasons that I love the original series and now this next generation is the large family saga of unconditional love for everyone and that no matter what the family sticks together. We get to visit with so many characters that we already know and love along with getting to know the new generation. You’ll love The Secret if you enjoyed any of the books from the With Me In Seattle Series. Get a family tree and learn who goes with who! 5 stars*****

The Secret is the first in the Single in Seattle series. It is a second-generation spin-off from the With Me in Seattle series. This is a book about Vaughan and Olivia. Vaughan is a cocky, ultra-famous actor. The kind of guy that Olivia is supposed to stay away from. Although her father has spent his life in the limelight, he has kept his children out of it. But when Olivia, the costume designer on her dad's next film, meets the star of the film, Vaughan, sparks fly. Olivia is worried about how her family will react, and this is just a fling, so there is no point in involving anyone else. Until pictures pop up online and feelings get involved, it is hard to decide what is best for her and her heart.

This was an enemies-to-lovers "light" story. They pretended they hated each other for a few minutes, but it didn't last and they were head over heels. They couldn't keep their hands off each other, even when they knew it was a bad idea. Although Olivia and Vaughan both say that this is just a fling, these two fall hard and fast. They have amazing banter and some off-the-charts chemistry, making for a fun read.

Not only do we get a wonderful story about Vaughan and Olivia, but we also get to meet all the cousins, who I'm sure are in future books! I loved getting to know this close-knit family and loved how they were there for each other in all the important ways.

I loved how Kristen Proby fully immersed me in this story, keeping me interested and wanting to turn the page. I got through this book in less than a day and didn't want to put it down. If you like fun, enemies to lovers, with some great banter, this is the book you should check out! Thank you to the author for a copy of this book! All opinions are 100% mine.

If reader's loved the With Me in Seattle series they are going to be even happier with the second generation of characters in the Single in Seattle series. Olivia has been sheltered from the spotlight by famous parents that have put her and her siblings first. Family meaning more than stardom has allowed Olivia to work in the spotlight as a costume designer but not be consumed by it. That is until an arrogant and cocky actor, Vaugh Barrymore, ends up not being what the press has him set out to be. But now thrust into a world she never saw coming keeping the relationship a secret is not very easy. Will it be too much to overcome? Or will both Vaughn and Olivia find strength within each other? Love, Love, Loved these characters and storyline. Kristen Proby once again throws the reader into the mix of a story that they do not want to ever get out of. I cannot wait for more in this series.
