I enjoyed the back and forth before and after The Fall in this issue. This technique elevated the plot reveals. The artwork also pops because the colours and styles used before and after The Fall differ entirely. It almost makes me want to pay more attention to the plot. This is particularly relevant because some middle issues in a new arc can feel a little slow as they build back story. But this art choice prevented that.

The big reveal in this one was interesting, and I haven’t decided if I like it a lot or not. I am sticking with this series for the characters. I get serious Joel and Ellie vibes from The Last of Us from Grey and Wren. Looking forward to the next issue, and I am quite curious how they will balance the Before and After the Fall moving forward!
