Life, the universe, and everything is a good lighthearted read but falls short of the high comedy bar established by the previous installments. Possibly just as good as the second book but the novelty wears a little thing by this point. I will say I'm in the camp that LOVES Douglas and his sense of humor but as reading material it can get tired if you stay too long. The krikkit plot isn't my favorite but I love the alien that's telling everyone to F off... And not to mention the award for The Most Gratuitous Use of the Word "Belgium" in a serious screenplay. All good fun, fun enough for me to finish out the series at least.

Was a little less entertaining then the first 2, think I’m going to read something else instead of the next book, come back to it later.

It took me until the 100 page mark to get into this book, the first half was just jumpy and lacked cohesion (or maybe it was just my struggle to get into the story that made it feel that way). I'm going to continue this series because I am determined to finish it.

I think I liked this one the best because the plot thread was stronger. It also feels like a good place to stop. I've heard from friends that the last two weren't worth reading, and since the series isn't my favorite, I think I'm going to call it good. I enjoyed them. I didn't love them. I do think I'm going to listen to the radio dramas though because the humor probably plays much better to that medium for me.
