🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ There was never a dull moment in Henrietta "Henry" Bacon and Luca Rossi's life. I loved everything about their twists and turns to finding love. I can't believe how farfetched everything was, and yet the love and family felt absolutely real. Can't wait to continue the series.

**My thanks to the author for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**

This is the second book in the series and can certainly be read as a stand alone, somehow i have missed book one and will certainly rectify that soon.

This is a spin off off the Bro Code series and touches on another series based in Copper Valley, and we get to see characters from both series in this book.

Henri is a writer and a bit of a hazard alone with having a mouth that does not shut up, my son is the same and it drives me potty.

Luca happens to meet Henri at a friends wedding and he looks after her when her fiancé cancels the wedding as he has been in love with Luca's mum for years.

After turning up on Luca's doorstep with her clothes and her adorable cat, she takes over Luca's life and asks for help in learning how not to fall in love. But getting close to Henri has him wondering what was wrong with every man that Henri has ever been with.

Lots of high-jinx ensue and you cannot help but root for this pair, love TikTok Nonna and all of the supporting characters.

I really cannot wait to see what happens next.

Oh Henri and Luca, how much I loved you! Henri was a hilarious paranormal romance writer and all-around quirky person. Luca was baffled by her at first, but eventually saw how wonderful she was. The resolution was the only solution there could possibly be. The epilogues were brilliant.

I loved the little peeks into the life of a self-published romance writer. {cough} Pippa Grant {cough}

I love Pippa Grant and think each book is the best she has written but this time she has really outdone herself. Her characters are so well written you actually want them to be your friends. The story is so filled with emotions you are either laughing out loud or wanting to cry.
Henri and Luca are such strong characters but you can't help feel the pain and insecurity they carry over from their childhood. you can't help but love them. The secondary characters of Nonna, Luca's TikTok celebrity grandma who is threatening him with "The Eye" is hilarious and who wouldn't want a pet like Dogzilla, a cat with his own wardrobe of costumes.
My biggest complaint about any Pippa Grant's books is that they always end too soon. I just want to keep on living in Copper Valley forever.

This book was so good. I loved both of the main characters so much. This book is both super sweet and laugh out loud funny. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an escape from the real world.

DNF at 17%. It’s like reading cartoon. Immature & no chemistry.
