Would have liked it better if the words were more descriptive....I did a lot of the explaining.
Could be good for kids telling the story back by themselves, though.

This book introduces kids to a variety of animals including some exotic ones. The story is funny, the rhymes are good, and the pictures are large and colorful.

I agree with another poster about this book being semi chaotic. There is a fun rhyme scheme to the text. Overall I couldn't get past the rude demanding critter visitors at the cafe nor the chef and waiter who give in when the going gets tough.
