I am finishing despite being halfway through... I just can't.... go on...

There is zero plot. The lead heroine is supposed to be intuitive, and yet.... and yet there are planks of wood with more sense.

The characters are flat and unengaging.

The... ellipsis and the repetition has done me in. I think I would have pushed on if that hadn't been so horrendous, but it was actually really angering me towards the point that I gave up.

Definitely.... not.... for... me. And I would struggle to be convinced to try anything else by this author.... After this.

Well…

This book would have been great if it didn’t suck so much

I wish I could tear this book apart but I don’t remember a single thing from it.

i actually prefer her blood and ash series but this was an easy read with an interesting cliff hanger

Loved this read! When it comes to MMCs, JLA has a formula that works for me. They are mysterious at first, sarcastic, possessive. I can't wait to find out more about him and how the book ties into the FBAA series. It ended on a cliffhanger and I HATE that I have to wait until JLA is done with FBAA before we get the second book. 
I also have so many questions on Lis because WHAT IS SHE??
