While I did enjoy finally getting Aurora's story (she was my favorite character and prominently featured in all the other books in this series), I didn't feel that the plot lived up to what it could have been.
The tension between Malone and Aurora was great, as were their spicy scenes, but my main issue with this series is the lack of storytelling. There were details hinted at in this book to the world outside Carver City, but I felt like it was more as an opening to introduce the Sabine Valley series rather than further the plot of the book. I also couldn't take Aurora's threat to Malone's life seriously, so that bit of tension to the plot was lost on me.
I didn't dislike the book by any means, but I was left wanting more.

WLW, enemies to lovers. I felt like there was not enough time for them to develop their feelings for one each other, except for lust. Although throughout the series we’ve seen them lusting already.

This is basically a copy paste of book 1 and 4 of the series. Aurora is just boring in this book and it couldn’t keep my attention.

This was fine, again out of this whole series really the only one that I liked was the beast, and it would have also been hook or whatever that book was if not for tinks backstory. This one was ok, aurora became annoying, but I liked Katee's setup for her other series that was real smooth

There is a lack in supply for good f/f smut books. This is the 6th book in the wicked villain series. However I skipped all the books and went right to this one because it is sapphic. I read it as a stand alone which worked well for me, though I hear the other books in the series are good too.
This enemies to lovers between Aurora and Malone is fire! These twofer representations of Maleficent and Aurora from Sleeping Beauty. It may be because I only read this book that I enjoyed it. From my perspective it was fun to read the spicy seeds and I felt that there was enough plot to keep me guessing what the ending would be.
