Lame. Nothing about this book is believable. Plot, characters, villains are too comical to care for.

Love the writing, but I didn't like any of the characters. They were all so over-the-top and rather annoying, in my opinion.

Really great book. I loved how Gracie's past turned into such a big deal and people couldnt get past it. It made the story so interesting

A really fun, funny read from Susan Mallery. When she was 14 Gracie fell for the boy next door, Riley. But at 18 Riley had his own life and a girlfriend which didn't stop Gracie. Her antics and stalker-like behavior made her a legend in their small town until Riley married and Gracie left to live with family in another town. Years later Gracie is back in town to help with her sister's wedding trying to avoid Riley and her notoriety but not succeeding at either. As Gracie and Riley get to know each other as adults they develop a friendship that turns into something more but with family pressure and the town gossips can they make something more of their friendship? I enjoyed Gracie's emotions and the growth she went through as she found the place she could finally find home, and the man she found home with. Great read!

"First comes love, then comes marriage. . .
Or that was Gracie's plan, anyway, at the ripe old age of fourteen. She loved eighteen-year-old heartthrob Riley with a desperation that made her a town legend. Even now that she's all grown up, the locals in sleepy Los Lobos won't let her forget her youthful crush.

. . .but it's not as easy as it looks.
And how can she, when she's face-to-face with Riley at every turn? The onetime bad boy has come back to town seeking respectability-but the sparks that fly between them are anything but respectable! Gracie's determined to keep her distance, but when someone sets out to ruin both their reputations, the two discover that first love is sometimes better the second time around." (From Amazon)

I liked this contemporary romantic comedy but was not as good as the first book. I didn't think Gracie and Riley had the best chemistry.
