I normally like Chase's books, but I cannot get into the middle part of this series. I tried to read this twice and put it down at about 75%.

I know many like this series, but this one was not for me.

Oh my god. Thank god it’s over. I’m officially giving up on the series.

The cliff hanger ALMOST GOT ME. It’s tempting to go on but the writing kills me in the worst way. Every scene is ruined by highlighting characters inability to be anything but overwhelming worthy or not worth and is terribly repetitive.

Talk about a slow pace novel....... but I loved the polt twist in the end!

I think in general that's what I probably find more interesting in the story as a whole: you don't always have something majorly shocking happening. And that's ok.

Sometimes is just a love story, a beautiful one at that. Sometimes is just days of searching for answers and trying to make sense of life. And that is probably as much relatable as a series about fae and magic with a remarkably strong and decided (and lucky) main character can be for a real person.

Can't wait for what comes next!

This book was a refreshing read as this series isn’t fast-paced and action-packed. We get to learn the ins and outs of the world and all the characters within it. It’s beautiful to see how Talia grows into herself and stands up for what she believes in. The conflict resolution is quick and doesn’t drag over problems. Beautifully written and while slower to read, is still interesting and urges readers to keep reading. Very sneaky and unexpected cliffhanger! Well done!

This is, the drama, the big life altering things.. This is what I missed from the prevois books.

Not the question is, will this hold, ans make the series better? Or it's a one time wonder?

Only one way for me to find out...
