Well written and very informative. However, I think it could be better. there is a lack of kanji or any Japanese characters, which would really enhance the book in certain parts. The author is also very biased in the way he writes about some events of historical figures, especially women and younger generations. A good overview I just don't agree with them on some points and the way they write some stuff.

The author is a bit jokey and uses slang inappropriately which spoils the enjoyment of reading what would otherwise be a reasonably good book.
