I highly recommend this book. It is beautifully written, capturing an era (1960's) and a boy's early adolescence with a hint of the magic that is childhood.

Can’t really imagine a better way to start a new year of reading. This had everything I love in a book. I will be shocked if this doesn’t make my top 3 of the year.
