A nice little story about a Holiday I never heard of. I thought this was in November, but I missed it and it was in October. They have an idea called 'tikkun olam' which is about doing something for people that will help repair the world. That's a beautiful idea.

Sukkot means hut and it is a remembrance of the 40 years the Israelites wandered in the desert. The Jewish faith has a lot of Holiday's I know nothing about I realize.

A farmer is having people help bring in the rest of his pumpkins before the frost to use for Sukkot and a shelter. The little boy tries to find the perfect pumpkin for pies.

It's a nice story and I learned something too. No one in our family has heard of this, so we all learned something. It's a pretty good idea. The kids thought this was a good story, but it wasn't exciting said the nephew. He gave it 3 stars and my niece did too.

A casual look at both a lesser known (to me) Jewish holiday as well as a community and giving mindset. Micah has goals for his own Sukkot pumpkin -- something he wants to be able to take home for his own holiday celebration. But throughout his pumpkin-picking journey, Micah makes several choices to offer up the pumpkins he finds for various purposes that will benefit others instead of himself. A cheerful, hopeful, and uplifting story.
