I can not determine why I did not like this book. I loved Blood Jewels trilogy and perhaps I have anticipated something similar. But the things I liked there are missing: humor and sparkle of life in characters... I know that there is a second part [b:Belladonna|47951|Belladonna (Ephemera, #2)|Anne Bishop|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1170349024s/47951.jpg|46934] but I am not interested to read it.

Sebastian is an incubus who lives in the aptly named Den of Inquity, which is located in the landscapes of Ephemera. I really enjoyed this book about Sebastian and his love interest Linnea. I did find it amusing that there was little sex in a book about an Incubus.

This book was a surprise: I didn't think it would be this creative. I find it harder and harder to find original and innovative books in the fantasy genre. Thankfully, this one did the trick.
The world was really complex but still well built; the fragmented reality really worked for me. Even though I liked most of the characters, I didn't connect much with them. Besides that, this book is really good.
