Probably my favourite Beatrix Potter story, I loved the cartoon of it when I was younger.

Read this as a bedtime story for my dear friend who is a grown Person™. Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle is the moment, the girlypop ever. Such a kindhearted motherly figure who washes everyone's laundry at no cost! Oh bless her. Amazing art in this book, captures Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle extremely well. An interesting turn of events at the end as characteristic of Beatrix Potter books, but a good one in my opinion. Rather silly and leaves you with a warm feeling in your heart!

I literally read this one in a antique shop with books and the story was so fun. Loved it. ( plus it gets my reading challenge up)

My absolutely most favorite Beatrix Potter. My beloved English nanny used to read it to me, and I still have the copy she gave me, and can still hear her voice reading it.

Potter seems to have had a lot of fun with this one. In earlier books, she hints that all of the animal stories are true, but at the end of this story she explicitly tells readers show has been to the small door in the hill and knows Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle. It is a gem for readers young enough to still believe the world works this way.

Simple story that I could imagine my grandmother reading to me, making it all the more enjoyable.

Wouldn't recommend this for the Kindle. No pictures makes for less engaging reading when it comes to children's literature such as this.
