It was okay. I thought the part where Triangle became a line might be confusing to kids. The pictures were to small to be a storytime book. I would recommend it as a lap book for K-1st grade kids.

This was as charming as I had hoped. A picture book inspired when the author attended a panel with Cassandra Clare talking about love triangles in YA. This is a punny, hilarious look at navigating the difficulties of three-sided friendships (and love triangles) with lots of geometry concepts thrown in. Even teens at my library were laughing their way through this book when they found it while tidying the shelves.

LOVE, TRIANGLE is packed with humor, friendship, suspense, and an inspiring resolution. Oh, and those adorable little characters and settings! The text is lyrical, witty, and sure to amuse parents and kids. I read it several times with my kids and we continued to find laughs with each reading. The art is engaging and dynamic (of course, it's Bob Shea!) and will surely inspire lots of engaging crafts for all ages at story time.
