I just loved this book I have enjoyed the whole series they just keep getting better and better so if you get the chance give them a go. After seeing some of the chemistry between Becca and Hale in the first book I was really looking forward to their story and it did not disappoint. These two have been friends since they were kids and as they grew their feelings changed and started to develop but before they could do anything about them her dad ruined it. Now years have gone by and when Hale needs help Becca is in a position to help clear his name. This was a terrific read and great addition to the series

When I first read the book description of ‘Infinite’ I knew this was a book I wanted to read. I love romance stories and this one just sounded so good. So I requested an ARC as soon as I could and I was super excited when I got approved to read this one. Although ‘Infinite’ is the third book in the Carolina Beach series, it can be read as a standalone.

In ‘Infinite’ we follow Hale Wilder and Becca Shields. Hale and Becca both had a pretty hard childhood but they always had each other. But years ago their friendship changed drastically and they lost touch. Now Hale is big guy on Wall Street, and Becca is the best in her field of public relations. When Hale finds himself in trouble, Becca is determined to help him. But will Hale be able to trust the one woman who broke his heart.

‘Infinity’ is my first Cecy Robson book and I must say I really enjoyed it. I love a good romance story and this story is definitely filled with lots of romance and chemistry. Hale and Becca are both very interesting characters to read about. I especially loved that they weren’t only romantically involved, but they were friends too. It was definitely so much fun to read about. And I soon felt like I’ve known these characters a lot longer than only from this read.

There were moments in this book were I thought time went way to fast. For example the moment Hale and Becca finally came together. The next moment it was several weeks later. But this wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. I just enjoyed this book so much I wouldn’t have mind reading more and longer about these characters. It did feel a little sudden to me at times.

If you like romantic stories with a lot of chemistry than this book is definitely for you. From the very first chapter the moments between Hale and Becca are filled with chemistry. And Cecy Robson definitely gave us some very hot and sexy moments.

Becca Shields has a friend that she wants to be more than with. Hale Wilder learned a hard lesson in the past. Can a couple from the past reunite in the present? If you like a romance that comes with a second chance then this may be a book for your library.

With this story, the author goes about developing her characters and their scenes before she has us thinking relationships. One secondary character I enjoyed was Hale’s assistant – she’s an experience you will enjoy. Two more characters you will enjoy are Mason and Sean – one seems serious and the other will have you chuckle. Besides creating great characters she does a great job in creating the heat between our main characters as well as the tension that goes along with it. A mystery is revealed very slowly because she’s built the suspense first – she waited for the perfect moment before slowly unraveling things.

But will their past get in the way of what they could have now. Because of all the mystery surrounding Hale, he can use all the help that’s being offered. Becca is willing to do all that she can but I liked when she let her sassy side come out and play. One thing the author gave them in common was a family unit that was far from perfect. So they found a family elsewhere.

This may be part of a series but you could consider this a standalone. If you want a little background on our couple you may want to check out Inseverable. The setting is what these books have in common but little else. Kiawah Island actually exists so I may just have to add it to my bucket list. In the meantime, I can enjoy it from the comfort of my recliner or a nice spot on a beach somewhere.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

I received a copy of this book via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review
'It would be several years before I saw Hale again. It didn’t hurt any less when I finally did. Hale was my friend, confidant, the young man I could laugh with and cry to. The one man in my life I could always count on. He was never supposed to break my heart. And I was never supposed to break his...'

A stunningly heart-warming second chance romance, Infinite is the last book in Cecy Robson's Carolina Beach series.

Hale Wilder spent his childhood fighting to win his fathers love. He was the best student and the best athlete, he grew into a successful business man and took the finance world by storm.

Young, rich, and powerful, Hale was unstoppable. Until a company scandal destroys his reputation and threatens everything he's worked for.

Becca Shields is a public relations goddess, spinning scandals to gold and launching has-beens into superstardom. She never expected to see Hale again, not after the humiliating night when her family caught them on the beach together, barely clothed.

When Becca realises Hal is in trouble she can't turn her back on her childhood friend.. A friend who almost became much more.

I've wanted to read Becca and Hale's story since I first read Inseverable back in 2016, and I am so pleased to say that this novel did not let me down.

Normally I'm not much of a fan of books written with a split first person point-of-view, generally finding it breaks the suspense and pacing of the novel. However I really liked that Infinite was written like from both Hale and Becca's POV, as it allowed you to really get to know them and help understand the complexity of their feelings and motivations.

I loved the chemistry Becca and Hale shared as well as the sexually charged - yet humorous - banter.

'With every step I take, Becca’s eyes grow wider. No, wilder, and those fists she rammed against her hips? Well, look at that, they slide down very sexy curves I’m looking rather forward to caressing.
“What’s wrong?” I ask when only inches remain between us. “Do I intimidate you?”
She jerks her chin away. “No. I just think if we’re going to have a working relationship, you need to respect my position.”
“Position?” I drawl. “Darlin’, I’ll respect the hell out of whatever position you want.” '

I also loved that Becca was such a strong character who built her own family and support network when her biological family was nothing but toxic, was strong enough to take a stand for what was right, achieve her goals, and build a successful life for herself.

“You were never the problem, Hale. He was.”
“And yet you still chose him,” He fires back, every syllable clipped.
“No,” I say. The word is too simple to carry the weight I feel behind it. My mind flashes back to that night.
My cousins on top of Hale.
The crunch of fists colliding against bone.
The grunts.
The cries of pain.
And my father’s large hand striking me down.
God, if I hadn’t gone to Trin, if her parents hadn’t helped support me, I would have lost my position with the Carolina Cougars and been living in squalor.
And still I would have done it.
“I chose me,” I say, my voice quivering as I remember how hard Daddy hit me. How much he wanted to hurt me. How much that sadistic bastard enjoyed watching me bleed.

Infinite was a perfect ending to an amazing series and is due for release on the 15th August.

This is my second time reading a book written by Cecy Robson and both times, I enjoyed every moment.

Infinite is the third book in the Carolina Beach series; however, it can be read as a stand-alone. This installment introduces Hale and Becca good friends since high school. Her father deemed their friendship unworthy as Hale's family did not come from money. However, despite this their friendship grew stronger eventually evolving into a love which would face not only the test of her family's disapproval but also of time.

Unforeseen circumstances tore them apart leaving them both alone and brokenhearted. Distance and time, however did not diminish or put an end to the love that had for each other. The love they had for each other was so strong that ten years later when Becca found out Hale was in trouble she dropped everything and came running to his rescue. Even though they had not been in communication with each other in a long time.

Infinite is a story about love, healing, self -discovery and forgiveness. It featured two characters who had their share of pain and emotional upheavals. I found myself caught up in their lives from the moment they were introduced. One of the things I appreciated was the lack of unnecessary drama. There were misunderstandings, but they did not allow them to derail their relationship.

Becca and Hale were perfect for each other. Becca is warm and friendly, which is good given what she endured during her childhood into her teen years. Hale became a successful and ethical businessman. He avoided commitment, but he is not the type to sleep around.

I enjoyed watching them find their way back to each other and overcoming obstacles that shadowed their every turn. Theirs was a journey riddled with emotions that would make you cry, laugh and swoon.

I enjoyed spending time with their friends, especially Sean. He is the friend who provides comic relief during the stressful moments and although he may annoy you, you cannot help but appreciate his efforts.

Conclusion /Recommendation
I enjoyed this story from start to finish. I had a hard time putting this one down. If you enjoy feel good second chance romances, then you need to get a copy of this book. I will be adding Cecy Robson to my list of must read authors. One of my favourites for 2018.
