2⭐️ I definitely was not into this book as much as the first book. This is a book about a master/slave relationship which is different than a Dom/sub. It’s a complete power exchange for 24/7, which was interesting to learn about which is why I finished this book. The master, Isaac, was actually really sweet and wanted to help heal his slave, Katie, from her past sex trafficking trauma. I’ll be skipping buck three since that’s another master/slave relationship. I’m hoping book 4, Zanders book, is more of a Dom/sub read.
Worth the read?: YES
Reread?: NO

I could just tell it was going to be like the first book in the series and I really didn't love it so I moved on to something else

Just not a fan of this writing, the weird jump around of plot/pov and just hard to read.

This book is a dark BDSM, sex club romance.
It follows the relationship between Katia and Isaac. Isaac helps Katia work through her past trauma with her old master and set new boundaries and rules to allow their relationship to flower.
"Katia, what does being a Master mean?” “It means loving someone so strongly that your life revolves around them. That every action is made with their wellbeing in mind. Their happiness is yours. Their pleasure is yours. Their life is yours. And the opposite is true for them.” Love? I wish I could tell her she’s wrong. But she’s not. “My happiness is yours?” I ask her. She looks me in the eyes and answers confidently, “Yes, Master.”
