2'5*.

Aunque ha sido fácil y entretenido de leer, la resolución final del caso me ha parecido, aunque con sentido, un poco sacada de la manga. Pero para pasar el rato y leer algo fresco, ágil y sencillo, es el libro perfecto.

Mary Higgins Clark has been a favorite author since I discovered Loves Music, Loves to Dance in high school. I've read all of her books and eagerly await the new one each year. This book was fantastic up until the very last few pages. True to her form she kept me on the edge of my seat regardless of the fact that her stories always turn out okay (and I know that while I'm reading) I still get panicked during intense scenes. I wouldn't say that the mystery in this one was hard to figure out but it was still a fun read, my only gripe is that I couldn't handle the cliche cheesiness that the book ended on (literally the last 5 pages or so), for that I bumped my rating to 4 stars.

It was a very quick, easy read. The story draws you in so that you have a sense of urgency to finish this book.

Ah yes. Let's make the person who barely knows her be the killer and have a motive that's appallingly nonexistent. Kindergarteners have had more sophisticated temper tantrums than this guy.
