Really good bisexual representation. But at the first Queer and Questioning Club meeting I wish the narration hadn’t rattled off everyone’s labels. Felt cheap and like roll call. When I was questioning and thinking about going to my university’s queer club, I was terrified that I’d walk in and everyone would ask me my label. If I’d read this book, that might’ve cemented my fear

Still I liked the story. The characters were interesting and easy to root for. It had the right amount of obliviousness and miscommunication/misunderstandings

Darcy is great at giving the relationship advice but her own love life is chaotic. 

Dealing with being in love with her best friend. Helping a guy she hates to win back his ex. 

Loved the way it explored bisexuality and biphobia.

Już dawno nie czytałam tak dobrej młodzieżówki. Nie tylko można spędzić przy niej miło czas, ale również dowiedzieć się ciekawych rzeczy o relacjach czy związkach. Przy tym wydaje się pokazywać bliższy naszym realiom obraz młodzieńczego życia, bez seksu, dragów i imprez każdego dnia.

LOVED this! The characters are so real and have such depth, I related so heavily to the main character. She had the typical black and white thinking of a teenager but I loved her more for it. She’s messy and we need that!! Her exploration of internalized biphobia is so important!! Can’t say enough good about this story.
