Amazing character development. Cozy, cheery, heart wrenching, comforting, funny. Just perfection.

Such a cute, wholesome story line. Lives up to the front cover, “Sometimes it takes a little magic to find your way home...” Makes you want to stop by the Blackbird Café and be welcomed by all the lovable characters.

I really enjoyed the magic realism and healing theme but did NOT enjoy the cheesy, shallow romance stories. The quick easy match-ups had so little depth and the dialogue and narration reminded me of YA teen romance drama. Every character's needs were just all wrapped up with their own little bows. Perhaps that was the objective; it just felt simplistic to take lifetimes of pain and seal them up so neatly.

A little Hallmark plus a little magic equals a lot of love. Time for pie and tea.

A cute cozy store about grief, family and choosing oneself. Fanciful in parts with some cringy dialogue but over a sweet read.
