It’s been a while since I’ve read a fantasy book that gripped my full attention. From beginning till the end.
Wow! And the ending. A cliffhanger.

Sabine may have spent the last 10 years in a convent but she’s no shrinking Violet. She has secrets - some she doesn’t even know. She has to take a horse ride across the countryside naked to her new fiancé with only her hair as a covering and a huge guard as protection - what could possibly go wrong?
This book had adventure, rumblings of mysterious things happening, secrets on all sides, and a little spice thrown in.
Oh and my favorite quote:
“That girl, there? The one you thought you could take from me? Whatever bounty you thought she was worth, I assure you, she’s worth it one hundred times over. I would tear the living world down to the gods’ underrealm for her—and I’ll happily butcher you.”
Tropes: Enemies to lovers to enemies, Snow White vibes, rumors of Fae, people with fae-like gifts, possible chosen one, forced proximity
