Wild ride!
I don't like to leave spoiler reviews so I can't say everything that is running through my head but I loooved this!
I am a huge fan of messy love with people who haven't always had a great past. I love when their story isn't easy or just has one big breakup then they work it all out and get back together.
Life is messy so love sometimes is too.
I already wish I could read this again for the first time and I just finished it. I definitely recommend if you don't want a typical HEA love story.

I'm so sad to do this, but I'll have to DNF at 65%.
This book is just too dark for me. My hormonal state, plus I have kids the same ages as the flashbacks... I can't do it to myself anymore.
I'm giving a neutral rating because while the themes in this book really upset me, it is well written. The book shows more of Keiran, which is really good getting his perspective.
Lake is seriously bugging me this time around, she's very unlikable so far.
But yeah. The writing is good, just can't do the themes unfortunately.

Well, this one wasn't as good as the first one. I did like it a lot but there were a few missing pices regarding character development and plot. It's still a very problematic book, there are a lot of power play going on in here.

DNF at 50%. I just can’t. The first book was interesting, this book is just ridiculous and stupid AF. Seriously she is sleeping with this guy... knows his past and the shit that was done to him, and is trying to get him arrested for something she doesn’t even think he actually did. I’m beyond done with this stupid ass story line. Who labeled this shit romance?!

Okay so I read this book and I'm currently on the second and for the life of me I can not remember what the song is called that lake sings and dances to as a child that catches Keiran's attention. Does anyone remember?

I realized when I read a book that all the bad shit that the MC's have been through don't matter because once you read the ending, it's the last and only thought in your head. That ending was fucking beautiful. I cried (of course) and I just wanted to say that this series was so worth reading, through all the fucked up shit, and confusing times. It was worth it. I kind of feel tempted to read Sheldon and Keenan's story so I think I might when it comes out.
