Delightful Sins by Lola King is the 3rd book in the North Shore Stories series.  This book can be read as a stand alone, but the previous 2 books do lead up to the events of this one.

The notorious Brothers of the North Shore Kings, step-brothers Ethan and Elliot, are practically opposites.  One is quiet, the other charming.  One is patient, the other is a ticking time bomb.  One is blood thirsty, the other is a manipulator.  The one thing that they have in common is their love for the same girl, Jade.  Jade, full of secrets, ran from her life in the North Shore only to be dragged back by the Brothers, the one that broke her heart and the one that she left.

There book was full of EVERYTHING from start to finish.  It was packed full of action, HEAT, and drama and it almost felt like I didn’t have time to breathe.  This is an MFM romance with two TOXIC kings and a feisty baddy FMC.  There’s a ton of tension between Jade and each brother and tension between the brothers.  When the three of them came together it was explosive.

If you love MFM, morally black men, toxic romance, and a crazy ride, Delightful Sins will not disappoint.  Just like I expect from Lola King, the book is full of twists and turns, and a whole lot of secrets.

I have to say one of the things Lola is amazing at is writing a standalone in an interconnected series where you don't have to of read the prior books to understand what's happening. Is it beneficial & a more enjoyable read to have read the first 2 books, for me yes, but it definitely isn't necessary to enjoy the story.

Everything was taken up a notch in this book the crazy, the spice, the unexpected twists and turns (quite a few surprised the hell out of me), which I thoroughly enjoyed!!!

I love all the characters in this series. Some have had to grow on me as the series progresses. Based on prior books, I didn't particularly like this MFC, but once her story of why she did what she did was revealed, she definitely grew on me. Who doesn't love a good redemption story!!!

The brothers are just crazy but in the best possible way & I'm here for it!!!

Some of the tropes/themes in this book are:

*Enemies to Lovers
*Touch Her & I'll Unalive You
*Kidnapping
*Kinks (lots of kinks)
*Parental Death
*Blackmail
*Manipulation

There is a content warning at the beginning of the book with a full list. Please make sure you check it if you have triggers.

I absolutely can't wait for the next book!!! This has been one of my top favourite series of the year!!!

I was fortunate to receive an advanced copy of this book & this is my honest opinion.
