Hard to describe my experience with this book. Groundbreaking. Eye opening. Completely turned a lot of my perceptions and thoughts on their head. Really fascinating, well supported and structured to really provide so many perspectives on death. Humans are quite curious and loved watching how we process death consciously and unconsciously. Will be revisiting this one I’m sure

slow-paced
yeah so…I might add a proper review later but for now…this is hands down the worst book I have ever read!
13 hours/450 pages of nothing but outrageous and baseless claims, disgraceful “research”, egregious historical inaccuracies, and pathetic editing. I truly have no idea how this managed to get published.

Some interesting parts of this book, which is clearly well-researched and touches on some interesting angles on mortality. While it had some strong sections, I found it a little lumpy and found myself tuning out on certain chapters. In fairness, this may be a book better for reading rather than audiobook.
