I read this not knowing that it was the 12th in a series. Based on this novel, I would not want to read the series, it was a crap book. There was no character development, there was no real plot or ending, and I have no desire to find out what happens next.

I need Sean and Avery to get their happily ever after and I need it stat. Every time I pick up this series, I keep hoping it's the last book. Not because Holly is a bad writer but because I love Sean and Avery so much that I need them to live happily ever after and I need it to happen now! We get some answers, things aren't as bad as they seem and yet, at the same time, their worse. But Sean, he was so vulnerable and fierce in this book.

As much as I am drawn to this series I found this book enjoyable and leaving me hanging the beginning had its surprises but too many pages of nothingness. Great ending shame it took about 10-12 chapters to get there

This volume was so different from all the others. We’ve seen small glimpses at a softer Sean, but he always disappears and raises a wall twice as sturdy as the last. In The Arrangement 18 Sean is practically unrecognizable. He is soft, sweet and romantic. He willingly gives us more insight to himself and his feelings in this volume than he has in all the previous volumes combined.

Things have gotten pretty crazy in Avery and Sean’s world lately, and in this volume they get a very short, but much needed break from everything but each other.

But that break is also the reason I'm giving this 4 stars and not 5 (as I've been rating the volumes in this serial lately, because they've been extremely good). Because in my opinion this volume was a lot slower than the others, especially compared to the later volumes where there's been SO MUCH going on. To make up for it the cliffhanger is really good, and the way it ends promises loads of action in the next volume, and I'm very ready for it!

I loved the crossover! It was awesome to see everyone gathered together in one scene. Even Trystan and Bryan!

And we all knew Mel wasn't dead, right? But who the hell is this person who's after Avery/Sean? And what's with Mel's doppelganger? Does Black have anything to do with it? This is turning into a mystery.

I like that Sean is changing. Allowing himself to be a little vulnerable. That he's trying... For Avery.

The author provided an ARC in return for an honest review.

This book picked up brilliantly from the cliffhanger of the last book. Poor Avery doesn't get time to enjoy her engagement as she moves into her dramatic, fast paced life. Miss Black is suspiciously absent in this instalment which leads me to suspect she will be back with a vengeance. I really enjoyed Avery's time in the strip club with other characters. Sean is showing a slightly warmer side which is nice! Next, please!

every time, every f*cking time she does the same. Miss Ward keeps us on our toes and slaps us with something no one even thought of. and it is a compliment.
